Despite its lack of memory, the Samsung ML-1610R delivers exceptional text prints with affordable Samsung toner costs. The lines are crisp, clear and have little to no distortion. It prints black and white photos well, but if you are an avid photographer you will want to upgrade. Color is decent for a personal laser printer for those who do not need a lot of color prints. Due to its 2 MB maximum memory large documents or documents containing extensive graphics occasionally stop between pages as the next page is loaded into the memory.
