Although it comes in a line of disappointing printers, the HP Deskjet 648c is surprisingly likeable. Unlike the other models in its line, the 648c is actually compatible with both Mac and Windows, not just one or the other. Its print speeds are less than impressive at 6 pages per minute using black printer ink and 3 pages per minute using color Deskjet 648c ink. Though those speeds make it seem ancient, the other models are much slower making this the best value in the 600 series.
